Home again after another braw weekend thank you all.

Just waiting for the weather to drop a bit in Gairloch, it's a wee bit mad right now!

I had no probs with Gairnshiel Bridge the other day, it's not the old bridge that they are working on, it's a new bridge being built further along the road. There is one set of traffic lights on the road but they were green both times I passed through.

The top dressing Ian mentioned towards Aboyne is a bit skittery, but just stand up on the foot pegs and make on your off-road and you'll be fine.

Fingers crossed for a good one this year.

I've been in Cameron's tea rooms at Foyers for soup and bacon butties, and the homemade cake was braw.

I also spent a weekend wild camping a wee bit south of there at a nice bit next to the river.

Unfortunately, the last time I passed the camping spot it had been taken over by Traveling types and was looking a bit of a sh##hole.

I checked with the Gairloch site today, and they are hoping to take tents by the end of the month.

Big sand is taking tents now.

I also spent a few days at Tim's place in Strontian last week, and he is taking tents too.
