I am gutted, went through to see him week before last in his " new hoose " He was in good sprits then, although frustrated at his postponed op due to covid in Aberdeen. Was going to phone him tonight. This is a complete shocker.

Said a final farewell to Jim this morning over in Keith. Nice to see familiar faces present - Jim would have enjoyed some serious "crack"
All present raised a dram to the man we knew. His ashes were kept company with several drams of his favourite malt, along with a bottle of Jack Daniels
Took a ride out from Keith along Jims favourite local roads afterwards, thinking as I rode of how he & I had many a hoon along them.
Ride the long road Jim.

It would have been trite to add condolence earlier when I never knew the Man but clearly he will be missed by many on here, so to whichever god it is, I wish those who knew him well.
