It was a wee bit dreich yesterday but today is wet !
Some pics from the Forth yesterday.
A Working day for some --
Forth Port Survey boat.
Suction Dredger Marlin
Ineos advertising hoarding
A perhaps normal looking power station but pic two shows the "dismantling" clearly.
The chookie burds keep doing their thing regardless ---
Shoveller ducks shovelling!
A Whaup with a fine big wormy thing
I ran out of battery charge as soon as i took that snap --the moral , always carry the spare !
Two from me . . .
Steve, have you got your eye on that old sign ?
I trust you missed the worst of the NE dampness ?
Didn't get the deluge that they got further east from me, but it has rained for the last 3-4 days and all the rivers & burns are very high.
And No, I don't need any more signs, thank you very much
Couple of photies taken whilst out working this morning . . .
Ballindalloch West Lodge

cracking pictures Steve
i forgot you said you were back to work.
Good colours.
one from last week and one from today
Lock 16 on the Union Canal with the Union Inn just behind
Tower house and Church with a distant Dumyat in the background.
and today's offering
The Black Devon making its way around the Tower Brae and down to the Forth.
It was called the Black Devon for the perhaps obvious reason that it was black with coal stour and that distinguished it from the other Devon , identified by Burns as The Clear Winding Devon.
The Keeper's Bridge, over the Black Devon , which funnily enough leads to the "Keeper's" cottage which has not a had keeper living in it for many a long year.
note the rather meagre height of the "parapet" ---- no fol-de -rols or builders flourishes !
A short spin out today , to do some things in Inverurie then headed west and had a nice drive .
Got very cold at 3pm though ..
The observant will notice the Lomo stuff on my bike getting limited testing during these strange times .
Trying to get the time to do a couple of reviews soon...
The pannier certainly seems to be mounted very "correctly" and square to the bike !
P.S. I like that rear wheel pic.
Suggestive of something rufty tufty about to happen !

Must say that they have done a very good job re the securing points , it has a padded back with webbing lattice so securing to a pannier frame is very easy.
A little tricky to thread the 2 straps but with a little practice could be done in 5 mins per side .
Full review (video ) will come soon I hope
The Panniers I am testing out and giving away are these https://www.lomo.co.uk/acatalo…Medium--1950.html#SID=118 Lomo's new 30lt Large Panniers . £69
They have quite a few improvements over the first version
The other bags are the Crash bar bags https://www.lomo.co.uk/acatalo…bar-dry-bags.html#SID=118
6.5lt each and they are like a mini pannier bag , with the same webbing on the back £39
Your bike looks great Craig, and those Lomo panniers look neater and more useable than the big ones (that have sat in my garage since the 2019 strontian rally)

Cheers Hamish , my bike needs a winter full service and some things sorted out . The Transalp is closing in on 70000miles now .
The bags are more upright and secure much better .
