Whilst some of you have been fettling bikes, or even riding them, I have been doing important winter stuff.
Viz --- getting my camping gear organised using my New- to- Me Sewing Machine.
The plan was to colour code stuff and a few metres of Ripstop were bought for the project.
Existing Lomo Red bags get used for clothes and stuff that goes in the tent.
Grey was for Tent stuff.
Yellow for Eating stuff.
Green for Personal care.
Roll top, Yellow Bags were made to house all of the Eating and Cooking gear, that lives in the Crash Bar Bags.
Wee Roll top, Green bags were made for Toiletries/ Personal care stuff and Just-in-case painkillers/tent fix bits.
A pair of Grey Outer, Tool rolls, were made for tent pegs.
A Grey Zip pouch, was made to house the Tool Roll pack that houses the Needed Tent Pegs and the Tool Roll with just in case tent pegs.
A Grey Zip pouch, was made to house my piece of Tyvek that goes under the inner.
A wee Grey Zip pouch, was made for the Mushroom pegs that pin down the Tent Footprint.
and to finish it off --
A Blue Pull-cord bag, was made for the two blue coded Tent poles.
A Yellow Pull-cord, bag was made for the two yellow coded Tent poles.
So that wee project has alleviated the crap weather stopping me getting out on a bike even for half a shift.
Regrettably the weather man isn't suggesting much different up to mid March.
