Had the sad task of saying goodbye to a school pal yesterday - the guy that got me into riding. Used a bike from Riders BMW of Cardiff (very, very helpful people) for the funeral procession, and whilst checking out my ride the day before, I took a gander at the F750GS & the F850GS, wot I can be seen sitting on.
Me thinks my F800GS will be staying in the garage for a good while yet.
The Nine-T Scrambler I had for the day didn't press my buttons either :o

Sheesh, nice looking machine, but much bigger than I expected it to be....I liked the return of the tank to between the knees, instead of under the seat
See for me Doug, moving th fuel upstairs is a negative. Lower C of G with the fuel under you surely?.
Its the same seat height as the F800GS but the seat, I think, is wider, thus splaying your legs slightly and loosing some leg length.
