Hi Steve, good that Neil is on the mend. Must have been a tough couple of years.
Looks like a lot of beans on that tattie. 😲

Cheers

Cheers Andy & Nathan.

Looks like he'll be heading for Aberdeen whilst I'm down there, so it's the car tomorrow  :(, then Aberdeen with him once he's discharged.

Cheers Ian.

Just home after a trip to Edinburgh, then back via Aberdeen where Neil will be spending tonight & tomorrow whilst the medics there give him the once over, as they now have him in thier care after the transplant.

We are still stunned by the speed of the whole thing and even more so by Neils recovery so far. Here's hoping that it continues in that vein.

Cheers Don.

Yep, the big red beasty sure is an incentive to get things right and get bike fit again for Neil.

Thanks for asking Ian.

All is still going amazingly well thanks.
He got the last of the staples out today, so a bit tender in places.
We, his mother and I, are still trying to get our head around the whole thing.
Understandably the transplant itself has to done in short order from the first availablility of a donor organ to the actual operation, but his recovery and ongoing well being is just miraculous.

Heres hping that all continues in the right direction.

Again, thanks for asking.

:) thank you all for all the good wishes. Iím feeling great but it is strange getting up and not having to do insulin any more.
Only 4 weeks to go then I might get out on the bike. 😄
