My mate Nick, he of the skanky old Laverda Atlas adventure bike (and every trip is an adventure on that thing  :D) has just entered - he's number 36.

Any more taking part tomorrow?  My mate Nick will be here tonight (on a Honda, he finally destroyed his Laverda Atlas it seems) for a pre rally curry.  Reckon he needs a route biassed towards the east...

Well that was a fail - he got blown off his bike near Tongue so beat a hasty retreat back to Inverness.  No harm done to bike or rider, but he has a long ride back to Didcot tomorrow.

I never made the start line this year despite the good intentions.

I'd be surprised if many did start - not entering with the Laverda lads would have knocked off 10% of the entry, and the weather would have seen off quite a few others I'm sure.

I can't imagine Colin will bother next year - I suppose after about 30 years or so he can knock it on the head, job done, but I will miss the event.
