Eats on the Black Isle
« on: February 18, 2019, 11:13:58 AM »
Couple of places I go to regularly.  First is the Crofter's Bistro in Rosemarkie.  It's right on the waterfront (not such a good place to park your P&J if it's blowing a hoolie and the tide's in) and is nicely done inside.  Good food and Cromarty Brewery  beers.  http://www.croftersbistro.co.uk/home.html

Second is the Sutor Creek cafe in Cromarty  down by the harbour.  Great pizzas and fish (as well as Cromarty ales).  Just the thing before catching the wee ferry to/from Nigg. https://www.sutorcreek.co.uk/

They also have a sister cafe called Couper's Creek in the centre of Cromarty village which I thought was pretty good too, especially if you like ice cream.

A bit further north the cafe in the Carnegie Courthouse in Dornoch's main square is great fun - very busy and the food is good http://www.thecarnegiecourthouse.co.uk/
